I am honored to share a variety of yoga practices with all levels of yogis. Whether you’re looking to deepen your existing yoga practice, or have a general curiosity and don’t know where to start, I am excited to work together to find a practice that is sustainable for you. Below are some of the areas I focus on.
fundamentals
I love sharing the fundamentals of a yoga practice for body, mind, and spirit to help people learn how to move better and feel better. Over a few sessions, I will guide you in growing a yoga practice rooted in yoga philosophy and safe alignment. My main goal is to help you feel confident and strong in a larger studio class setting.
recover & restore
My personal yoga practice and each practice I share are rooted in gentle, restorative movement. Rest and relaxation is are essential to living a fulfilled and mindful life off of our yoga mats. Incorporating breath work, meditation, and yoga nidra into your yoga asana practice can calm and reset the nervous system to help you rise to the challenges of everyday life in a mindful manner.
functional flow
Yoga provides a whole-body approach to strengthening and stabilizing movement patterns. You can help you increase flexibility and balance, and develop strength in areas that are complementary to your primary athletic endeavors. We will work together to identify a movement goal to work towards through your yoga practice. Your journey to meet this goal may take more than several sessions, but we will work together to find a practice that sets you on a path to increased mobility, strength, and stability.
